Virtual Reality Research Program The CAVE is a virtual reality facility in which you can walk into a model of the human heart, explore proteins the size of a human, look at a 3D reconstruction of the Catalina mountains, enjoy 3D art and much more. It is a half a million facility which is not available in every university. It provides a new way of visualizing and manipulating data that is closer to they way humans interact - in three dimensions.
